User Experience Designer

My journey started as a communications and website consulting professional by cutting my digital teeth in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Over the years I've been fortunate enough to have lived and worked in a number of large metropolitan centres, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Washington, D.C and Raleigh, North Carolina.

I moved to the great city of Toronto, Ontario in 1999: In part due to my great love of theatre and the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club but specifically to expand my career as a performance professional (acting and writing) and as a software consultant. I've been here ever since.

My philosophy is easy to understand: Write simple, and the way people actually talk. Build online presence for corporations that is easy to navigate. Above all, I love what I do and I have fun! I try to bring that to all my projects.

My name is Thierry Patrick Nihill, and I am fabulous.

Who am I? I'm a highly skilled User Experience designer and consultant of enterprise websites, usually for large financial organizations and other related corporate institutions. I am also a professional performer and a writer of some note.

I have been referred to by my clients as a 'high tech janitor': someone hired to come in (usually on an emergency basis) and clean up a digital mess. As an experienced software designer, content optimizer and project manager, I have developed a solid reputation as someone who is an effective 'bridge' between understanding both the technical requirements ('back end') and functionality design ('front end') needed in order to effectively produce the greatest possible user experience for clients.
