  • Sports Editor (with writer Dave Parkinson) for The Gauntlet, the University of Calgary's newspaper. (1985 - 1988)
  • Completed studies at the University of Calgary - in Archaeology. It was not a career path I wished to pursue. (1988)
  • Auditioned for Calgary Opera. Fell in love. That was the career path I wanted to take. (Thank you, Paul J. Kelly, 1989)
  • Completed work on an unproduced musical, The Portrait of Dorian Gray, with writer Kurc Martell (1990)
  • With Gabriel Martin, formed an advertising and graphic design umbrella company: Visual Investigations. (1991)
  • Worked for Intergold Limited (now a part of Josten's), designing corporate and championship awards. (1992 - 1994)
  • Appeared on the Maury Povitch Show, twice, with my ex-wife (No, I do not want to talk about it). (1993 - 1994)
  • Appeared as a semi-regular cast member of Disney's Honey I Shrunk the Kids TV series. (1997)
  • Started learning the computer trade from George Smith, owner of CHIPS Computer Centre in Calgary. (1997 - 1998)
  • Originated the role of Paul Bland in the Western Canadian premier of the quirky musical, Eating Raoul. (1998)
  • Originated the role of Archie in the Western Canadian premier of the musical, The Secret Garden. (1999)
  • Appeared in several film and television productions, notably for Fox Television and Warner Bros. Studios.
  • Appeared as a voice actor for several radio commercials and started performing voice over work.
  • With exceptional artists Carl Bishop and Cameron Falkenhagen, adapted The Wicker Man (1973) film for the stage.
  • Met playwright Anthony Shaffer (through author Allan Brown), and began work on The Wicker Man as a stage play.
  • Moved to Toronto in order to pursue my performance career, and continue work on The Wicker Man. (1999)
  • Finished second in The Fan 590's (sports talk radio) first 'Dream Job' contest. I'm still bitter I lost. (2004)
  • Began my writing career as a normal blogger - was picked up by Von Gutenberg magazine as a staff writer. (2008)​
  • Learned how to evaluate and appraise antiques, art and grade coins - which I still do. (Thank you, Suzanne Ronald)
